Osmosis-Psyche of Cults

Psyche Of Cults
Psyche of Cults was my Final degree project where I started a journey of understanding the Psychology behind beliefs that lacked scientific backing. The aim was to create awareness around the concept that our faith shape our perception and there is and will always be a need to ask yourself the critical questions as to why we uphold a certain belief s, the importance to asking the "Why's".

To present my research and understanding as an image designer I decided to depict it through a performance art film called Osmosis.
Osmosis- is a film that represents the journey of an individual in phases based on the depth of their belief, and how with each phase they move more far than their individual identity and adopt an idea or philosophy as their identity.

Osmosis -
Identity, the biggest part of our existence ,
A quirky blend of choosen and given,
With each of us having roles uniquely ours,
Osmosis takes place gradually.
A mixture of yours and mine slowly starts changing its colour
With each new role choosen, we add a new piece to our puzzle,
Yet some roles tend to take over,
They slowly but surely creep over parts that distinct us,
dissolve what was solely ours and create something that is shared by many,
The role now limits to a colour, symbol, group or philosophy.
Osmosis played its part and now identity is more ours than mine.
